According to the EU Regulation 679/2016 on data protection (GDPR), applicable from 25 May 2018, the processing of personal data must always be based on principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of privacy and rights of the interested.
In the following information you can see how we have implemented the new directives in order to ensure more control and protection of personal data of all our customers who have expressed interest in the activities of Cascina Piano.

a. Owner and method of data processing
Your personal data are processed by Azienda Agricola Cascina Piano s.a.s, Via Valcastellana 33, 21021 Angera (VA) - Data controller - using electronic methods.
b. Data to which the information refers
Your data, already acquired and present in the Cascina Piano archives, and those that you can communicate to us during the relationship with our company.
The data in question are: personal and contact details.
c. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
(i) Event and billing communication.
The processing is aimed at allowing the owner of information contacts for the dissemination of events held at our office or in other locations (Newsletter). These contacts are implemented through actions designed in a personalized manner on the basis of interests and preferences expressed by the interested party on the occasion of his participation in the various initiatives of the Controller; this allows to select - in the variegated context of the initiatives conducted by Cascina Piano - those of actual interest of the interested party (for example, events in the winery, wine tasting, presentation of our products ...).
Furthermore, among the billing data, Cascina Piano retains some information related to individual subjects that hold companies (s.a.s). This personal data or contact information (email addresses) are not used in any way by the owner.
It is emphasized that Cascina Piano does not plan or carry out contact actions with generic content, but only performs authorized contact actions as described, in order to avoid contacts not appreciated or not of interest to the interested party.
Contact activities can be done through the use of a newsletter (via e-mail).
d. Data retention periods
All data processed for the purposes sub c. (i) will be retained until the termination of the relationship established and within the terms and limits set out in the applicable rules, in particular administrative, civil and fiscal.
For the purposes sub c. (i) the data will be retained until the exercise of the right of opposition by the interested party; if not, they will be kept as long as Cascina Piano continues its wine production and events related to the presentation of its products.
e. Rights of the interested party

Furthermore, the interested party has the right to complain to the Data Protection Authority to assert his rights.
With particular reference to treatments for the purposes described under c. (i), it is specified that the interested party has the right to oppose at any time, free of charge and without giving any reasons, to the processing of his data for such purposes, and that he may exercise the right to object even separately for contact activities traditional and automated ones: if it is not specified which contact methods it refers to, the opposition to the processing of data will be understood as extended to all contact tools.
