Cascina Piano chooses and pursues the enhancement of indigenous grape varieties, reproducing varieties partly abandoned and the selection of new varieties to be included in IGT. In the vineyard and winery, Cascina Piano draws on the advice of "Ampelidea" that guide the use of new techniques of cultivation and winemaking.

The label design inspired by the frescoes of the territories, the first names of the wines refer to the history and local place names and sayings and rhymes dialect reported on the bottles telling of historical and artistic premises.
