It's time for the harvest and our events linked to this fundamental moment for the winery.
Below you can find our program and choose the appointment that interests you most :
Sunday 2nd September
Tasting aperitif with lake view
11:30 am : Glass of wine with food tastings. Visit our vineyards and winery, tales dedicated to the harvest. Participation cost : 20 euro.
Food tastings will be provided by "Varesexstrada".
Reservation is required within Friday August 31st, once a seat has been filled, a waiting list will be activated.
Sunday 9th September e Sunday 16th September
The harvest of children
12 am : Registration for the event.
12:30 pm : "Pic nic in the vineyards" – Take your sandwiches and your beverages with you. You can have your picnic in the location of Cascina Piano!
2 pm : “Let's try to harvest” - Educational harvest for children. Grapes pressing with feet.
4:30 pm :
For adulds : Wine testing with the products of Cascina Piano.
For children : Didactic workshop :" The fox and the grape".
"There is a fox who really wants a bunch of grapes but ... What will happen? We will discover together the adventures of this fox in the Cascina Piano vineyards on September 9th and 16th.
Will he be able to reach the grapes and savor the sweet taste? Will you be able to extract the precious juice?
Between history and reality we will try to harvest the grapes, press them, bottle them and with natural materials we will make a delicate mobiles in memory of our adventures and ... of the fox."
The animation of the children is in collaboration with Archelogistic.

Participation cost : 25 euro adult, 15 euro child.
Sunday 23rd September
Walks of Museo diffuso di Angera
9 am : Start at the Museo Archeologico of Angera and collection of partecipation fees.
9:30 am : Departure of the walk from Via Marconi with the guides, pass through Via Cervino and arrival in Via Valcastellana at Cascina Piano.
11:30 am : Reception of the walk in the winery.
12 am : Wine tasting.
Registration at the walk and further information are available at IAT office in Angera.
Terre di vino e di storia
4 pm : Reception of pedaling to the winery.
Registration at “La Bottega del Romeo” Ispra.

Departure with bicycle at 10:30 am at IAT Office in Angera. Bike rental on reservation.
Sunday 30th September
Tasting aperitif with lake view
11:30 am : Meeting point at Cascina Piano, Via Valcastellana 33 Angera.
The aperitif menu includes 5 tastings reported below:
- Sfoglie alla pancetta ossolana.
- Caravelle alla toma di Osmate con lardo lonzato Monterosa e fichi.
- Cornucopie al caprino del luinese.
- Salame prealpino varesino.
- Involtino di persico alla salvia.
In combination with the tastings the following wines will be served:
- 1 calice di Vino Rosso I.G.T Ronchi Varesini Angliano 2014
- 1 calice di Vino Bianco I.G.T Ronchi Varesini San Quirico 2017
Following, visit our vineyards and the winery, tales dedicated to the harvest.
Event realized with "Scopri il Lago Maggiore e il territorio che lo circonda".
Buffet tastings made by “Gastronomia Fratelli Del Torchio”at Angera.
Reservation is required, the number is limited, once a seat has been filled, a waiting list will be activated.

Sunday 7 October - CANCELED
UPDATE : due to the adverse weather conditions, lunch scheduled on October 7 was canceled. In its place we offer an open day from 10:30 am to 6 pm, during which you can visit the winery, the vineyard and taste our wines. Participation fee: 10 euros. Booking is not mandatory, but confirmation of participation is appreciated.

Below the menù we have chosen for this occasion :
- Calice di benvenuto di Verboso Bianco
- Risotto al pesto caprino del luinese e pomodorini confit abbinato ad un calice di San Quirico
- Petto d'anatra ai mirtilli con verdure al forno abbinato ad un calice di Sebuino.
- Crostata di pere.
- Acqua inclusa nel menù.
The price for the whole day is 40 euro.

WARNING: For organizational needs, booking is mandatory for every single day. Failure to reach the minimum number of participants by the previous friday may lead to the cancellation of the event.
For all our events, the registration is meant for the whole day. It is not possible to register for individual activities.
ORGANIZATIONAL NOTES. WEATHER/ HARVEST: In case of bad weather or technical difficulties related to harvesting, events can be canceled. The cancellation will be communicated on www.cascinapiano.it/eventi and on Facebook www.facebook.com/cascinapiano, we kindly ask you to consult.
CANCELLATIONS: Kindly we ask you - in case of impossibility to participate - to cancel no later than the friday before the event, to allow those on the waiting list to take over.
